BIOGRAPHY 

Ms. Shen joined HHP in 2009. 

By practicing for over 8 years specialized in the field of labor and employment matters, Ms. Shen possesses a wealth of experience and expertise. She has represented and provided legal services for numerous multinational companies in a wide range of China on employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious, including recruitment and employment management, designing and implementation of labor dispatch and labor outsourcing schemes, drafting and reviewing employment policies and procedures, designing and implementation of international employee compensation schemes, termination and mass lay-off management, employment dispute resolution, etc.

She has abundant experience in advising clients in the field of corporate and commercial matters. She provides contract and compliance review to a great number of clients, most of which are multinational companies, to support their operations in China. Her capacities in this area cover both general contract and commercial laws, and specific issues such as intellectual property, anti-corruption, anti-trust, import and export, and customs.

Ms. Shen also has strong knowledge and extensive experience in commercial litigation and arbitration involving contractual disputes, intellectual property disputes, product disputes, and unfair competition disputes. She provides legal services to clients on industrial construction projects.

Labor

－ Provided due diligence and advised solutions on labor matters for M&A and joint venture projects of many multinational companies, involving the industries of medical, automobile, logistics, manufacture, chemical, steel, and etc.;
－ Advised a multinational company of the chemical industry on its mass lay-off without triggering any labor disputes;
－ Designed and successfully implemented the schemes for the transfer of labor dispatch to labor outsourcing for multinational companies of the steel industry and cosmetics industry;
－ Provided legal services for numerous well-known multinational companies on labor disputes resolution in China.

Corporate

－ Provided long-term and full-range legal services for numerous multinational companies to support their business operation in China, covering the industries of machine manufacture, auto components manufacture, chemical, medical packing, cosmetics, health food, education and consulting, etc.

Dispute Resolution

－ Provided legal services for a German company on a trade secret related case;
－ Provided legal services for a well-known luxury management company on a consignment contract related case;
－ Provided legal services for a US-funded company in Suzhou on a series of disputes relating to sales contracts.
