Since June 2016, HHP Attorneys-at-Law has represented a well-known investment company from a state-owned insurance group for its indirect equity investment in enterprise of insurance funds as an alternative assets investment platform of the insurance group. HHP advised on the design of the investment structure and demonstration of the compliance of the investment structure, and issued legal opinion for the investment. With the assistance of HHP, the insurance group invests in an industrial fund by indirect equity investment in enterprise, and the insurance funds are ultimately used for the infrastructure construction in South East China and other diversified investment. The project has been successfully filed by the China Insurance Regulatory Commission, with a total investment amount of nearly RMB one billion yuan. Till January 2017, the insurance group and relevant parties have completed the execution of various investment agreements related to this project.
